PinkLink was formed to give South Africans affected by breast cancer a voice. PinkLink also has a specific focus to educate and empower South African women to take charge of their journey with breast cancer through action. We envisage equitable and accessible quality breast cancer treatment for all South Africans.

The organisation raises awareness of the issues surrounding women and breast cancer in South Africa and acts as a platform for change. PinkLink is dedicated to the promotion of breast cancer prevention and early detection.

5 Minutes for Life campaign

The 5 Minutes for Life campaign was developed to raise awareness around breast cancer and encourage women to regularly self examine and go for regular screening.

It is also a tool to highlight the risk factors associated with breast cancer thereby forcing women to consciously assess the state of their breast health.

The test is not meant as a replacement for medical advice and it is always advisable to discuss any changes in your breasts with your doctor.

Early detection saves lives. Only you can take responsibility for your breast health.

This is the message of 5 Minutes for Life.
